Indaloenhle Environmental Consultants has been appointed by ISimangaliso Wetland Park Authority to provide an
Integrated Management plan for 10 year period, this document is a strategic management plan for the period 2022 –
2031.
As such, it builds upon the 2017 – 2021 IMP and strives to integrate conservation, tourism development and the local
economic development and empowerment of historically disadvantaged communities in and adjacent to ISimangaliso.
Varlous sections of this 2022-2031 IMP have been updated and improved upon. GIS mapping for this whole process has
been included in this Integrated management plan.
